Your New Role
As a Senior Banking and Finance Associate with a leading UK Law firm based in Belfast, you will join the Real Estate Finance team which is involved in both borrower and lender work. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of sectors (often multi-jurisdiction) and carry out both investment and development work. You will be involved in varied work which spans the full transaction lifecycle including drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents (both LMA and non-LMA form), negotiating intercreditor arrangements, as well as supervising junior team members.
The team is involved in corporate lending, leverage finance, asset finance, real estate finance (investment and development), project finance and invoice discounting both on a bilateral and a syndicatable basis. They work closely with some of the UK's major banks and financial institutions and have approved panel status with many of them.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Skills and qualifications
- 5years+ PQE with a strong real estate finance background.
· You will be forward-thinking and take initiative in your approach.
· You will be highly motivated by your work.
· You will have experience liaising with lenders, borrowers, intermediaries and/or investors on the full transaction lifecycle.
