We’re working with an exciting and innovative energy business that are searching for an experienced real-estate solicitor, qualified in the Republic of Ireland, to join their paced in-house legal team.
This is an unique role that can be based either in the Republic or Northern Ireland, as the position offers a hybrid / remote working arrangement, subject to location.
Your New Role
As the In-House real estate Solicitor, you will play a vital role in helping the legal department function efficiently by providing Irish law real estate speciality and support. The key responsibilities are outlined below.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a high volume case load of commercial property matters to include conducting legal due diligence, title investigations and searches, drafting, negotiation and completion of commercial property leases, licences, option agreements and other related documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and best practices in conveyancing.
- Instructing and working closely with external counsel.
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships through effective communication and timely updates.
- Provide feedback to management and the wider team on legal queries.
- Reviewing, drafting and amending a range of commercial contracts, construction contracts, NDAs and internal policies and generally supporting the wider team by providing ad hoc legal advice to the Company as and when required.

What you’ll Need To Succeed
As the In House real estate solicitor;
- You will be a qualified Solicitor qualified in Republic of Ireland with a minimum of 3 years PQE (Northern Ireland qualification advantageous but not essential).
- Possess commercial Real Estate Experience in ROI
- Have experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
- A proven experience handling own case load seeking assistance where necessary and to work to set deadlines and service levels.
- An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Be organised, methodical and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
