A high profile international law firm in Dublin are searching for an enthusiastic Associate to join its highly regarded and market leading Asset and Aviation Finance Group in Dublin.

Your New Role
In your role as Asset and Aviation Finance Associate, you will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters representing top tier clients located in Ireland as well as globally.
You will work closely with partners and associates in advising banks, financial institutions, lessors, aircraft owners, financial arrangers and private equity groups on the most innovative and complex multi-jurisdictional asset and aviation finance and leasing transactions in the market. Your work will be high quality, interesting and challenging.

What You Need To Succeed
- As the Asset and Aviation Finance Associate, You will be a qualified solicitor, with ideally 2-7 YRS PQE, those current practicing in Ireland or those interested in returning or relocating to Ireland will also be eligible to apply.
- Prior experience in asset and aviation finance in a recognised practice however, interest is also welcome from solicitors with general finance, banking and project finance experience.
Additionally, our client is also looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Exposure to financial services related clients and/or cases would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills.
- high level of commercial and business awareness.
- A calm and measured approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proven track record in managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Additionally, you will demonstrate the following:
- Commercial awareness sharing the firms’ commitment to in-depth understanding of their client's businesses and building strong relationships;
- An ability to analyse legislation and provide advice in a practical manner;
- An ability to communicate effectively at all levels with their clients;
- A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative;
- Strong organisational and time management skills, together with strong financial acumen;
- Excellent academic record;
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
