A prestigious international law firm in Dublin are searching for an ambitious Dispute Resolution Associate Solicitor to join their International Dispute Resolution team.
Your New Role
In your role as a Dispute Resolution Associate, you will advise on varied cross-border client base on general commercial litigation, financial services litigation/dispute resolution, contentious and non-contentious insolvency and debt restructuring matters.
Your work will be high quality, interesting and challenging. You will be given the opportunity to work on a broad range of matters representing clients located in Ireland as well as globally and have a diverse range of responsibilities including the following:
- Interpreting, analysing and advising clients on relevant case law and legislation;
- reviewing applicable legislative provisions and advising clients on Irish insolvency and restructuring matters;
- managing assigned matters and liaising with other team members and colleagues within the Irish office and globally as needed;
- creating and maintaining relationships with client and industry contacts;
- keeping up to date with legal developments;
- participating in business-development activities; and
- assisting with the preparation of client advisories and updates and building your industry profile through their publication.
What You Need To Succeed
- You will be a qualified solicitor, at least NQ level, with proven relevant legal experience is essential.
- Ideally applicants will have at least 0 – 3 years post qualification experience in either commercial litigation or contentious insolvency in a recognised practice.
- Exposure to financial services related clients and/or cases would be a distinct advantage.

- Commercial awareness sharing the firms’ commitment to in-depth understanding of their client's businesses and building strong relationships;
- An ability to analyse legislation and provide advice in a practical manner;
- An ability to communicate effectively at all levels with their clients;
- A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative;
- Strong organisational and time management skills, together with strong financial acumen;
- Excellent academic record;
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
